Create your own Custom Transitions for your projects. Click on “Custom Transitions” and then on “Create Transition”.
Please note that Custom Transitions are created by manipulating “Slide 1” and “Slide 2”.
Slide 1 is the slide that you are “leaving” and includes all objects/images and any animation that is programmed to occur in Slide 1 during the transition time. Slide 2 is the slide that you are “entering” and includes all objects/images and any animation that is programmed to occur in Slide 2 during the transition time. The images used for Slide 1 and Slide 2 are default images to represent the slides and not the “actual” slides. Clicking on “Play” shows the default Custom Transition
Before proceding any further, click on “Customize”.
If you choose an Aspect ratio of 16:9 the Editor looks like this (Note that for a 16:9 Aspect Ratio the resolution of the Custom Animation is 1280×720). The Custom Transitions Editor has the same adjustments as the Objects and Animation Editor.
You can now create any animation you wish between the Start and Finish points of the Transition. You MUST have a Full Screen Slide 1 at the beginning of the Custom Transition You MUST have a Full Screen Slide 2 at the end of the Custom Transition The default images for Slide 1 and Slide 2 cannot be changed The Reset Button will return the Editor to its Default state when pressed Clicking on Close or the X Button will close the Custom Animations Editor. You are asked if you want to Save it and can specify a location and File Name. The Saved File will be ”<Name>.ptef”.
